HVCH

Hocking Valley Community Hospital hosted its first Immersion Program in June, providing Logan High School students with firsthand exposure to the many career opportunities available in healthcare.

During the program, students completed three department shadowing experiences of their choosing, attended presentations from both clinical and non-clinical department leaders, participated in hands-on simulation lab activities, and earned their Basic Life Support(BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

The HVCH Immersion Program was created to give students meaningful, real-world exposure to healthcare careers while strengthening the connection between the hospital and the next generation of healthcare professionals. Hocking Valley Community Hospital looks forward to continuing the program and inspiring future healthcare professionals for years to come.
