Logan High School Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams competed in the OHSAA D2 Regional Track Meet in Troy, OH on May 27th and May 29th. From that meet, 4 Logan High School Athletes will move onto the D2 OHSAA Track and Field State Championships on Sunday, June 7th in Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the Campus of Ohio State University.
In the Pole Vault, Sophomore, Sophie Sater, finished as the Regional Runner-Up with a vault of 11'4"
A pair of Long Jumpers qualified for the state meet with Junior, Sam Pennington finishing 3rd at the regional meet with a jump of 17'4.25" and Freshman, Lauren Coakley finishing 5th with a leap of 17'2.5".
In the Shot Put, LHS Junior, Tristan Frazier, finished as the Regional Runner-up with a throw of 51'7.75" qualifying for the state meet.
