Logan High School

Logan High School juniors, Ella Hinton and Emma Hinton, attended Regional Scholars, a two-day leadership seminar and college fair at Camp Akita this week.  Ella and Emma joined other students from schools around Southeastern Ohio at this event.  Ella stated, "I truly had an amazing time. Just being able to work with others and only knowing them for a short time and already making bonds that will be long lasting is what I truly am so thankful for. I learned so much about me as a person and who I can become as a leader, an athlete, and especially a student in the classroom. I extremely recommend going to Regional Scholars next year and appreciate having the chance to go this year because I made memories I will hold on to forever and it is making me excited for the journey I have next."  Sydney Cook, LHS English teacher, chaperoned and helped with recruiting students to attend the event.
