Over the summer the Technology Education department received some major upgrades. Grant funding allowed the department to greatly expand the educational modules necessary for teaching and certifying students for present and future careers in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. These improvements will allow students to be prepared to enter the modern workforce by giving them these highlighted opportunities;
Students get hands-on experience with robots, smart sensors, and industrial control systems — the same advanced technology powering modern smart factories.
Students build real-world skills in automation, robotics, mechatronics, and data analytics, preparing for careers in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and renewable energy.
The program also prepares students for industry-recognized certifications, including:
SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance) Industry 4.0 Credentials
MSSC Certified Production Technician (CPT+ with Smart Automation)
FANUC HandlingTool Operator Certification — earned through direct training on our FANUC industrial robot
Through interactive labs, simulations, and real equipment, students develop the technical expertise and confidence to thrive in the technology-driven workplaces of tomorrow.
