The Industrial Technology class were contacted last year about creating bicycle lock posts for the downtown area of Logan. The engineering team from last year school year researched and designed a bicycle locking post system. Because of the mini activities downtown, it was decided to include the feature of interchangeable placards. The current design represents a White Oak leaf and a L for the city of Logan.
The engineering class and welding class performed design and fabrication as well as manufacturing. They will be powder coated and installed downtown this year by the Hocking Hills tourism Association.
