9/11 Displays by 6th Grade ELA

 After reading about the inspiring story of Welles Crowther, known as “The Man in the Red Bandana,” our students worked together in small groups to create collaborative posters and bandanas to highlight his bravery during the events of September 11, 2001. Students reflected on important details from the story and discussed themes such as courage, kindness, and helping others.
