"As 2021 comes to an end and we are immersed in the giving season, I would like to give my thanks to Chieftain Nation. Our District is truly blessed to have such dedicated, passionate teachers and administrators who work tirelessly to provide the best education for our students; I'm thankful to work alongside you all. As Chieftains, we pride ourselves on taking challenges and opportunities head-on. I'm thankful for each of our students who do just that, and who continue to put their best foot forward. I would be amiss if I didn't take this opportunity to also thank our community and parents who cheer on our students and give them the tools they need to succeed both in the classroom and beyond. Your support for our students and the District is what helps us overcome challenges thrown our way. Without each and every one of you, we would not be the school district we are today.
We've had a successful first half of the school year so far, and I encourage everyone to keep working hard until the holiday break. Holiday break will begin on December 20, 2021, through January 3, 2022. School will be back in session on January 4, 2022.
This time of the year is made special because of the people we spend it with, so remember to enjoy time with your friends and family, rest and recharge, and lend a helping hand to your community.
I do not doubt that 2022 will be another great year if we continue to stand together as Chieftain Nation!
Sincerely,
Monte Bainter, Superintendent and
