The Logan-Hocking School District (LHSD) names Pam Price as Head Band Director, welcoming her back to the school district.

After 28 years as an Assistant Band Director and Woodwind Specialist, Price originally took over the role of Director of Bands after her predecessor, Jeff North, announced his

retirement. She continued her work as Director of Bands for five years before announcing her retirement during the 2021 school year. Price is thrilled to begin her work with the district again as Head Band Director for the 2023 school year.

Price is an alumnus of Logan High School, where she played the clarinet under the direction of the late Al Horsky. She continued her education at Ohio University, pursuing her love for music by earning her master's degree and eventually earning her teaching certificate from the Ohio State University.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming Pam Price back in her role as Head Band Director,” said Monte Bainter, superintendent of Logan-Hocking Schools, “Pam is dedicated in her work to help students succeed. Her

love for the community and the traditions that are held within our district have been evident in her decades of work and commitment.”
