JROTC Raider Challenge

Logan High School’s Air Force JROTC program recently competed at the U.S. Army National Raider Challenge held at Fort Knox, Kentucky, a premier national-level competition that brings together JROTC units from across the country.

The Raider Challenge is a physically and mentally demanding team competition designed to test cadets’ endurance, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Events include a 5-kilometer trail run, rope bridge construction, a cross-country rescue scenario, a physical team test, and the gauntlet—an obstacle course emphasizing speed and coordination.

This year’s competition featured 222 teams overall, including 75 teams in the All-Service Division, which consisted of programs representing all five military branches: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

Logan High School fielded two teams, both of which delivered strong performances against national competition.

The Logan Alpha Team placed 81st overall out of 222 teams and an impressive 16th out of 75 teams in the All-Service Division. The team achieved top-10 finishes in multiple events, including 10th place in the 5K Trail Run and 9th place in the Gauntlet, along with an 18th-place finish in the Physical Team Test.

The Logan Bravo Team placed 144th overall and 32nd in the All-Service Division, demonstrating consistency and resilience across all events, including a 20th-place finish in the Gauntlet.

Participation in the Raider Challenge provides cadets with valuable experience in teamwork, leadership, and perseverance under pressure. Logan’s performance highlights the strength of its Air Force JROTC program and its commitment to developing well-rounded student leaders.JROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider ChallengeJROTC Raider Challenge
