On Friday, March 13, Logan-Hocking Middle School will host national collage artist Michael Albert. An American pop artist renowned for his "Cerealism" collages crafted from cereal boxes and other consumer packaging, offers a distinctive art enrichment program called the "Modern Pop Art Experience" to schools across the United States. Since 2000 he has brought this program to hundreds of schools all over the USA (48 states so far!), Canada, and Europe including: Pre-Schools, Elementary Schools, Intermediate, Middle & High Schools, Colleges & Universities and Adult, Special & Continuing Education Centers. Michael will be working with the students during the school day, but the experience is open to the public from 4-5 p.m. If you are interested in stopping by, park near the sports entrance to the Middle School and follow the signs to the art room. Come in and make some art!
