Logan-Hocking Local School District

As a highlight of their annual Kindness Week, the Green Elementary Student Lighthouse Team recently organized a donation drive for the Hocking County Sheriff’s Office "Bags of Courage" program. Green School families generously contributed items designed to comfort children facing stressful or traumatic situations. These care packages—filled with blankets, fidgets, coloring books, crayons, playdough, and stuffed animals—are carried by deputies to provide a sense of security and distraction when it is needed most. The initiative aims to remind children of all ages that they are valued and supported by their community.
