LHSD Paint the Plow

The Logan-Hocking School District Art Department, in conjunction with ODOT and Mrs. Slack from Union Furnace Elementary, proudly completed this year’s Paint the Plow Project!

All five elementary schools, along with the middle and high school, participated in painting snow plow blades during their art classes. These beautifully decorated plows will soon be seen on the roads this winter — and featured in the Logan Holiday Parade!

A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Slack of Union Furnace, our friends at ODOT, and our incredible art teachers — Mrs. Blank, Mr. McAfee, Mrs. Anzalone, Mrs. Hacker, Mrs. Oldham, and Miss Woodburn — for leading our students in this creative, community-centered project.

This collaboration gave LHSD art students a unique opportunity to showcase their talents and community pride in a fun, hands-on art experience. We can’t wait for everyone to see their amazing work!
